ReplyDeleteI've heard, and I don't know if it's true, that one state has a limitation on the number of "laws" that can be on the books. When that number is reached, one old law must be repealed before the new one is passed.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I know, it's fantasy, but just consider for a moment. If that applied to the Feds. For a new gun control law could be enacted, NFA would have to be repealed. I'd bet the price of an real, semi/auto Auto-ordnance Thompson would drop like a rock.
