Daguerre is credited with inventing photography in the early 19th century. Then someone makes this nice monument to him. Wouldn't a photograph be better? Anyway, then I come along and take a photograph of a sculpture of the inventor of photography...using a digital camera. Very confusing.

ReplyDeletePicture that! ;)
ReplyDeleteAt least you didn't paint a picture.
ReplyDeleteThank you for resisting the urge to say that Daguerre developed photography...
ReplyDeleteSo, you took a digital daguerreotype, n'est pas?
ReplyDeleteCall it a digital-litho-tintype.
ReplyDeleteStill better than a wood-carving.
