I had an old guy one time come up to myself and my female copilot and say "I've never HEARD of girl pilots". I said "that's because we don't crash".
I was gonna refer you to Brigid, but, she already has!
Jeez, you let them wear shoes and go to school and look what they end up doing.
Er, Brigid, sorry but having been the recipient of a 'less than perfect landing' as a passenger in a Lynx I can attest to the fact that ladies 'do too' but I tend not not question the gender of the pilot so much as to whether I have to wring out my long-johns afterwards (it was a water landing in case you assumed something else - Oh, OK, that too :-) ).
