Self-Defense In Oak Park, Illinois

Armed robber shot by an armed victim, according to witnesses.

Isn't Oak Park one of those Chicago-area townships that used to ban handguns?

But...I thought that guns only harmed their owners. I thought they would only lead to more crime. Hmm. Guess I'll have to re-think that.
