Firearm(s) Unloaded

They're unloaded for now, but I'm callin' in sick tomorrow and goin' to the range instead. With (top to bottom) a 38-super Witness, a 45-ACP Kimber and a 9mm Springfield 1911.

(They charge by the hour, so I load the mags at home.)

Lots o' Blastin'.

That Kimber was SWEET. Next time you are out here and it's warm enough for the outdoor range I prefer, we can go play with it. Thanks for letting me hold it. Now I want one. LOL.

It's a very cute gun and beautifully made. Next time I'm in Indy, we'll take it to the range. Roberta X liked it. It DOES have a 4-lb trigger pull (I verified this with a scale) and that surprises some people. I have 620 rounds through it now with no surprises in the last 300 rounds; it seems to prefer Wilson 47OXC magazines.

Gonna have some fun tomorrow, eh?
I've got two full-size Kimbers. Nicely made, and work *perfectly*.

Yeah, they are NICE guns!

I think I may have to get some more Kimbers.

I pick up my SIG P226 on Friday. It'll be interesting to see how it compares to the Kimbers.
I *really* like my first one, a Custom TLE-II.

Coooool!

Sigs are nice! One day I will own one.

And Kimbers are made in Yonkers, NY.

Who could believe that New Yorkers could make such outstanding guns? And we are talkin' New York CITY! Good grief, Charlie Brown!

Yeah, I've always wanted a SIG, but went with a Kimber when I got back into shooting because my Dad had his 1911 from the SeaBees, and that's what he taught me how to shoot.
I'm soooo comfortable with a 1911......
