Qik.com offers a free service for users of some videocam-equipped cellphones. The service allows direct, near-real-time uploads of the footage to Qik's servers. That way, even if the cellphone is lost, stolen, destroyed or (ahem!) seized as "evidence", the video footage will still be available.
