I remember seeing Chumbawamba do their song "Tubthumping" on Jay Leno one night some years ago.
The were all wearing T-shirts saying "One Hit Wonder".
Do not forget The Knack.
In the great pantheon of one-hit-wonder bands, their name must be included. Like Pet Shop Boys and Chumbawumba, the album held greater ear candy than the radio dial allowed. It is too bad that "My Sharona" was the song on the pop charts..."Good Girls Don't" was a better tune.
I always considered Martha Quinn a class act.
