Another Shocking Fact!!

The New York Times is running three articles this morning on Sarah Palin and her family, including this nugget:

McCain campaign officials first confirmed to the Christian Broadcasting Network on Monday that Todd Palin had pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated in 1986; he had been pulled over, they said, in Dillingham, Alaska, while driving a pickup truck with friends. Mr. Palin has several other minor traffic violations, records show. He pleaded no contest to illegally operating an off-road vehicle in a game refuge in 2002, and that year was charged with failing to stop for a red light.

Yeah, and the lawyer who defended him on the red light charge is a law partner of a man who was in the same college fraternity as Karl Rove (although at a different school in a different state, and not contemporaneously).

Does anybody else hear a sound kinda like the bottom of a barrel being scraped?

I like how Obama got PO'd at the GOP because some McCain aide suggested that even though the Obama campaign had nothing to do with the scurrilous rumors regarding Sarah Palin's daughter and her pregnancy, it was benefiting from them.

Her hubby's a dyed-in-the-wool Democrat, isn't he?

Not only are they scraping the bottom of the barrel looking for dirt, it makes me like her even more. It makes me feel that she and her family are just like me and my family, unlike Obama and Biden who are nothing remotely like me.
