It's A Corvair, That's What It Is!

I drove one of those things once. This one must be, oh, forty-five years old.

Spotted this one in my 'hood this afternoon.

Looks like the body is in good shape. Is it for sale?

Looks like it's one of those restoration projects that never got started.

I've not seen one of those in ages. It looks like it's in pretty good condition.

I had one as well, a '65 Monza. Loved that car.

My God, man, there's a find! See if you can buy it off the owner, who obviously doesn't know the value of what's there.

When was 16, my Mom and I shared a 1964 Spyder until my sister pulled in front of a semi with it. She was OK, but the car looked like a paper cup somebody crumpled. Then we bought a 1966 Corsa, and enjoyed it until my Mom read Nader's book and talked my Dad into getting rid of it. It was a far better handling car than the '64, but my parent's wouldn't listen to me about the errors and inaccuracies in Nader's book.
We traded it on a 1969 Dodge Charger R/T, so although I missed the little Corsa, a 440 Magnum turned me into the torque junkie I am today!
